Joseph Vandemore, Founder In 1936 Joseph Vandemore opened the Vandemore Funeral Home in Atkinson. For more than 45 years he provided caring service to the communites of Atkinson, Annawan & Geneseo. His values of compasionate and personal service serve as the foundation of the service we provide today. We feel that our slogan of "Continuing the Tradition of Caring" is a tribute to Joseph Vandemore for laying the foundation on which we base our reputation.
