Adam J. Verdick

Adam J. Verdick, 44 of Mineral, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017, in Rock Island.  A Memorial Visitation celebrating his life will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24th, at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Geneseo.  Private inurnment will be at Manlius Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Adam Verdick Memorial Fund.  Cremation has been accorded by Vandemore Crematory. 

Adam was born on April 7, 1972, in Des Moines, IA, the son of Jerry Verdick and Glenda (Fordham) Verdick.   He was a 1990 graduate of Annawan High School.  He was united in marriage to Nicole Putt on May 5, 1995. Together they had their son, Clint.  Adam was an independent truck driver, currently driving for JLE Industries, out of Pittsburg, PA.

He loved spending time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed staying in touch with everyone through Facebook.  He enjoyed watching sports and taking care of his truck.  He was also very meticulous about taking care of his yard.

He is survived by his son, Clint Verdick of Geneseo, IL; mother, Glenda Verdick of Geneseo, IL; father, Jerry (Sherie) Verdick of Port Byron, IL; sister, Jessica (Cody) Vipond of Geneseo, IL; brother, Robert Verdick of Geneseo, IL; and grandfather, Clarence Verdick of Davenport, IA.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathryn Verdick, and Glenn and Lillie Fordham.
