Arthur F. Lambert

Arthur F. Lambert, 69, of Geneseo, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Good Samaritan Village in Geneseo, IL. Visitation and memorial services are planned for Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Geneseo. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Father Michael Pakula will celebrate. A private inurnment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Arthur was born on March 9, 1948, the son of Arthur William and Marguerite (Bartke) Lambert in Chicago, IL, the older of two children. He married Teresa A. Petrusek on April 18, 1970 in Chicago, IL. Arthur was a long time resident of Lake in the Hills and Huntley, IL, and was most recently a resident of Geneseo, IL. He worked as a tool & die engineer with several companies in the Chicago land area for many years. Arthur was a devout Catholic and longtime member of the Knights of Columbus.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Teresa, whom he was married to for 47 years, his daughter Kathleen (Barry) Jacocks, Geneseo, and his son Michael (Kimberly) Lambert, Pingree Grove, IL. His grandchildren are Haleigh, Natalie, Jacey, and Kylie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Marguerite.

The family would like to express their thanks to the wonderful staff at Good Samaritan Village, Geneseo and Unity Point Hospice for their compassion in caring for Arthur.
