Desiree - Sally Ann Adamson

Desiree Sally Ann Adamson, 77, of rural Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2017, at her home. No services are to be held at this time. Memorials may be left to the family of Sally Adamson. Cremation rites have been accorded. Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Geneseo is in charge of these arrangements.

Desiree was born on September 22, 1940, the daughter of Herschel W. and Marian (Tripp) Simpson, in Moline, IL. She was united in marriage to Donald H. Adamson on April 12, 1960, in Morrison, IL. Desiree was previously married in 1955 to Wayne A. Townley. Desiree spent her life as a mother and homemaker and loved her family and her pets dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Donald, sons, Joseph (Tina) Adamson, Tulsa, OK, and Darrin Adamson, MO, and daughters, Deborah (Kenneth) Brewer, Port Byron, IL, and Darla Adamson, Cambridge, IL. She has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her brother is David L. Simpson, Davenport, IA.

Desiree was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Marian.
