Donald H. "Don" Morgan

Donald Hollis Morgan, 62, of Silvis, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, while under hospice care at Unity Point Health Trinity Rock Island with his "queen" by his side, wife Kelly Duff-Morgan. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there's no funeral service. Memorials can be made in Don's honor to the Geneseo Humane Society. Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting with arrangements.

In true Don fashion, he asked that family and friends gather at a later date to "raise a glass" to toast and celebrate his life.

In November 2016, Don was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. From that point, he fought every minute of every day for the chance to spend one more day with his beloved wife, family, friends, and pets. He was a huge car fan whether that meant doing a rebuild, tinkering with a motor, racing in a demolition derby, or participating in a car show. One of his favorite vehicles was a 1948 Pontiac Silver Streak. He enjoyed traveling and made numerous trips to Mexico. Don also loved fishing, and doing anything outside.

Don is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Kelly Duff-Morgan; siblings Mary, Chuck, Whitney, and Trude; his wife's family, and his fur babies.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Tim.
