I met Florence through our bridge games in Geneseo. Florence became a special friend and often made me smile on my dreary days. I just learned of her loss to family and friends. We will miss here in Geneseo!

Florence was a great influence on my life and my teaching. I was placed in her classroom for my student teaching in 1979. She was so calm and in control and led her students with affection and love. She definitely got me started off on the "right foot". One could tell that she was as good a person as she was a teacher. God bless all of you!

I knew Florence from my years of working at Hammond-Henry. She was a wonderful volunteer and cared for those in our community and those who worked at the hospital. It's always interesting to think that though you know someone, you may not really know some of the amazing things they have accomplished. Her personal education and the dedication she had towards enhancing the education of others in the community is something that has no price. She will be greatly missed. I pray all of her friends and relatives will feel the hand of the Father upon them and they will be comforted.
