Frances M. Meyer

Frances M. Meyer, 81, formerly of East Moline, IL, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo, IL. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation rites have been accorded. Vandemore Funeral Home, Geneseo is assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the family.

Frances was born December 29, 1933, in Aztec, New Mexico. She was one of seventeen children. Frances worked at the Moline Public Hospital for over 30 years as a dietary aide. Her love for cooking was known well by her family and grandchildren. Frances was a loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and gambling. She will be missed for her great sense of humor.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Thompson, of Atkinson IL; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.
