Lana (Thompson) Miller

Lana G. Miller, 65, of Geneseo, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Geneseo Good Samaritan Village. Cremation has been accorded by Vandemore Funeral Home and Crematory in Geneseo and there will be a memorial service celebrating her life held at a later date.  

Lana was born on November 24, 1951, in Gamaliel, KY, the daughter of Herschel and Lilly (Goad) Thompson. She graduated from Arcola High School. She was united in marriage to Joe Miller.  Lana was a sales representative at Good’s Furniture in Kewanee for several years, until her retirement.  Lana enjoyed cooking and baking.  She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jill Miller of Geneseo, IL; son, Jeremy Miller of AZ; grandchildren, Kameron Miller, and Jacob Miller; and her brother, Gene Thompson of TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Loreen, and her niece, Sabrina.
