Luke Charles Timmerman

Luke Charles Timmerman, the infant son of Andrew and Molly Timmerman of Geneseo, passed away at birth on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria IL. A private family service is scheduled for Sunday, April 2 at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Geneseo. Deacon Art Ries will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery in Atkinson.

Baby Luke is survived by his parents, Molly and Andrew; his brother, Jack Timmerman, and his sister, Emmy Timmerman. Luke is also survived by his grandparents, Robin & Jim VanMeenen, and Kelley & Jeff Timmerman; his great-grandparents, Joann Timmerman, Wayne & Delores Kay, and Mary Will; his aunt, Maggy (Blake) Spivey, uncle, Tyler (Betsey) Timmerman, and cousin, Noah Timmerman; along with several other cousins, great-aunts, and great-uncles.

Luke was welcomed to heaven by his great-grandparents, Lawrence Timmerman, Frances and Rachel VanMeenen, Darrell “Ki” Vandemore, and James Will.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Luke Charles Timmerman Memorial Fund, which will be directed to organizations that help families faced with the loss of a child.
