Marjorie C. (Atwell) Vandersnick

Marjorie C. Vandersnick, 93, of Geneseo, formerly of Atkinson, IL, and Davenport, IA. passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Private graveside services will be held at St. Anthony Cemetery, Atkinson. There is no visitation. Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Atkinson is assisting with the arrangements.

Marjorie was born on October 31, 1923, in Atkinson, the daughter of H. Ben & Lois (Plummer) Atwell. She was a graduate of Atkinson High School and was united in marriage to LeRoy J. Vandersnick on February 9, 1946, in Atkinson. He preceded her in death in 1984. Marjorie had been employed at Rumler Insurance Agency in Atkinson for thirty years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Atkinson and St. Malachy Catholic Church, Geneseo.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
