Annie and Amy, I will remember your mom fondly as a mentor, and teacher, but mostly as a dear friend. I am fortunate to have known her and your dad. They are both now happy in the presence of our Lord, yet, at the same time, His almighty hand is holding you. I will miss her! You and your families will remain in my prayers. My love, Sue Talbot
I posted this on the Tribune site ... but wanted to make sure you knew I am still praying for you!

Thoughts and prayers are with your family. I did not know Mary well but whenever she visited me at the store she was always such a delight. Her smile and positivity was contagious. She will be missed.

I was pastor at Trinity while Mary was preschool director. She was a blessing to church and school. She could light up my day with her smile and her joy. She is one of the most nurturing, living and creative teachers I have known
My condolences to the family and prayers that our Good Shepherd strengthen them and give them his peace and comfort
Rest In Peace, Mary. Well done you good and faithful servant

I met Mary at the Community Center. There was always a spirit filled joyfulness when she would come through the doors. After meeting Mary at the Community Center I would then see her in the Community always serving and giving to others. Such a true servant, she will be missed. Her life well lived is an example to all of us. I am so glad I met Mary, she inspires me to be a better person.

Mary was like a sister to me. I have had such a hard time this winter and she was here everyday to lift me up. We moved into our homes a week apart and were instant friends with her and Bob. Our birthdays were a week apart and we joked that she was older!!! I'm so glad Larry and I were here all winter for her. It was a place where she could go and feel like family. I keep waiting for her to walk in. My saving grace is that she is with Bob.

Mary was a lovely gentle and kind lady who I admired. She was always ready to volunteer and always a friend. We all will miss her at garden club, just as we miss your Dad, Bob. They are together again, a beautiful couple. I am so sorry I will miss her visitation and funeral. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time in your lives.

Mary and Bob were great neighbors from the time we moved to Prairie View in Oct2012. We rode together and enjoyed them for many monthly Prairie View group meals. Mary's joyful greeting, pleasant smile , and such a positive attitude will be missed but never forgotten. She also was very caring, always helping anyone in need. May God help all of you with peace and many pleasant memories.
