Melissa Lewis

Melissa M. Lewis, 37, of Davenport, IA, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016, at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, IA.  A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14th, at Wildwood Baptist Church in East Moline, IL.  Reverend Dan Werthman will officiate.  Private inurnment will be at Rosedale Cemetery in Cambridge, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded by Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory, Geneseo, who are assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. 

Melissa was born on July 9, 1979, in Moline, IL, the daughter of John Lewis and Gaye Nimrick.  She attended Moline schools and was a stay at home mother.  She was a member of Church of Christ in Moline, IL.

She is survived by her daughter, Madison; sisters, - her twin-  Melanie, Kelly, Michelle, and Laurie; and brother, Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and one sister.
