Merna Jo (Offenbacker) Miller

Merna Jo Miller, 79, of Mineral, IL, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Unity Point Health in Rock Island, IL.  Private graveside funeral services were held at Mineral Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Geneseo Humane Society.  Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory, Atkinson is assisting the family with arrangements.

Merna Jo was born on May 26, 1937 in Heavener, OK, the daughter of Orlie and Monte (Tefft) Offenbacker.   She was united in marriage to Donald C. Miller.  He preceded her in death in 2003.  Merna worked for Martin Title Company in Rock Island as a title researcher for many years.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and her dogs.  

She is survived by her daughter: Kathryn L. (Kevin) DeJaeger of Geneseo, IL; son: Russell D. Roth of Moline, IL; step-son: Duane (Lori) Miller of Annawan, IL; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 1 brother.
