Pamela J. Minnaert

Pamela J. Minnaert, 55, of Geneseo, passed away Friday, September 17, 2010, at Hammond-Henry Skilled Care Unit, Geneseo. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010, at Vandemore Funeral Home Ltd., Geneseo. Reverend Dr. Arthur Bergren will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation for Pam will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Pamela Minnaert Memorial Fund.

Pam was born on May 10, 1955, in Geneseo, IL, the daughter of Arlyn & Carol (Anderson) Eyrich. She was a 1973 graduate of J.D. Darnall High School. Pam was united in marriage to David "Rebo" Minnaert. She was a waitress for 27 years at the Deck Plaza Restaurant, Geneseo and later at the Cellar Restaurant, Geneseo. Pam enjoyed Tuesday night wine parties with her friends. She also loved making everyone's birthday very special and decorating and dressing up for Halloween.

Survivors include her son, Brad Minnaert, San Diego, CA; her mother, Carol Eyrich, Geneseo; two sisters, Cheryl (Jack) Nowers, Prophetstown, IL, and Lynn Eyrich (friend, Shawn Bauer), LaSalle, IL; brother, Bryan (Amy) Eyrich, Glen Ellyn, IL; three nieces, Chelsea, Nora and Emma; two nephews, James and Toby; and a special friend, Darrell Wexell, Geneseo, IL.

Pam was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
