Patricia A. Williams

Patricia A. Williams, 75, of Geneseo, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Hammond Henry Hospital Emergency Room. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, June 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory in Geneseo. Reverend Ryan Landino will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the memorial service.

Patricia was born on October 7, 1941, the daughter of Frank and Opal (Paul) Averill, in Canton, IL. She married Gene A. Williams on August 19, 1958, in Lewiston, IL. Gene passed away in 2013. Patricia enjoyed playing music. Her instruments of choice included the piano, bass, and guitar, but she was able to play many others and she loved to spend time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jennifer Walsh of Millersville, MD; sons, Mark Williams of Geneseo, and Steve Williams of Des Moines IA; grandchildren, Kevin Williams, Marcus Williams, Matthew Walsh, and Aidan Walsh; and sister, Barbara (John) Briggs.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Opal, and by two sisters.
