Pauline M. Wildemuth

Pauline M. Wildemuth, 93, a resident of Courtyard Estates, Kewanee, formerly of Annawan, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 2 at the Annawan Community United Methodist Church. Rev. Dan Wright will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation for Pauline will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be left to the Annawan/Alba Rescue Squad. Vandemore Funeral Homes Ltd., Atkinson is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Pauline was born on August 19, 1922 in Stephenson County, Freeport, IL, the daughter of Glen & Valeria (Hartman) Geiter. She was a high school graduate and attended Brown’s Business College in Freeport. She was united in marriage to Harold J. Wildemuth on March 25, 1945, in Orangeville, IL. He preceded her in death in 2010. Pauline was employed for 40 years at the Henry Farm Service Co/ FS (now Goldstar Atkinson Facility) as a bookkeeper, before she retired. She was a member of the Fairview Church in rural Annawan and attended the Annawan Community Church. She was a longtime member of the Order of Eastern Star Geneseo Chapter #275 and the Annawan/Alba Women’s Club.

Survivors include her daughter, Glenna (John) Fidoe, Kewanee, IL; son, Jerry (Chandler) Wildemuth Peoria, Il; grandchildren, Bill Fidoe, Louisville, KY, Michelle Tucker, St. Paul, MN and Alan Fidoe, Carbon Cliff, IL; and great-grandchildren, Amethyst and Micah Fidoe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Wildemuth; and a brother.
