Roxanne and I were in soccer, drama, band, and jazz band together in high school and what I remember most about her was her enthusiasm for life, and the fact that she seemed to get along with everyone. It is quite obvious from the testimonies of those expressing condolences that she continued to touch so many lives. My thoughts and prayers are with the Aper and Rehberg families.

What an amazing impact you have had on 26 years of students lives! Parents in the Annawan community are thankful for your positive involvement. We used to be neighbors. We played together in Maple City Band. We were friends through music. I didn''t get to see her very often, but when I did she always had a smile on her face. I am very sorry for your loss. Mrs Aper was my Band, Choir, and Swing Choir teacher until I graduated in '97. She taught me a lot about about music and made it fun in the process! She went out of her way to help us all! She will be missed.

What saddening news I received this morning--my heart is aching. I went to Newark High School with Roxanne--she was two years younger but we were in band together! So happy to see she continued on in music--she was talented and blessed. I remember her nickname "Foxy Roxy" why I don''''''''t know!!! Dave and Family, We are so very sorry for your loss of Roxanne. She was always one of my favorite friends while I was coaching at Annawan. She always had time to visit a bit. Friendly smile, her laughter, her talent of teaching the kids music and she had a love of doing it and it showed. Our three sons had the honor of having Roxanne teach them music in band and chorus. Her and I even though these past couple of years had not see each other, but we did e-mail, I thought of her as a very good family friend to us all.
