I have lost a great friend as you have lost a fantastic father and grandfather. My personal memories take me back sixty five years with some of my more memorable thoughts of an athletic football player that didn''t know how to lose at anything.

When you only have twenty two classmates you truly share a deep and caring thought for each of them.

May God bless my classmate/teammate for so many good times.

Very sorry to read of Dean''''s passing. He was my supervisor at the Foundry from 1987 to 1992. One of the best foremen I ever worked under.

Scott, Deanne, Stacey and Jeanette we have lost a good friend and we will always have great memories of things that we did together in our younger days. Will never forget the hay rack rides on Sunday when we picked up people along the way. Please know we are thinking of you and hope the pain of losing him gets better every day. Love to all, Gerry and Mary Kay

We met Dean through his son (our neighbor and friend) Scott and his wife Rhonda. He was charming, fun, and a great help in many ways. Taken far too young and too soon, we will miss Dean, a good and kind man. God Speed.
Sent with Love and Prayers,
Ann and Harry

My wife and I will sorely miss Dean. He was a great friend and a good neighbor. We always enjoyed watching him win the big bucks when we went out to eat. Trudging through the dead of winter coyote hunting or boating with he and Jeanette was always a pleasure. Enjoyed being around the kids at Scott''s fish fry''s. Our prayers go out to all the family.
Love & God Bless,
Don & Therece

Sending our deepest sympathy from Toot and Jean. I am glad I shared 12 years of school with Dean. Great memories, and so much laughter. Small town USA (Atkinson) allowed all of us to know our classmates well. So glad our friendship continued for so many years.

My condolences to the Roman family. Even though Dean was an "upper classman" when we were in school, everyone at Atkinson High loved to be around him. He was a terrific and determined athlete and always - always the life of the party. He had such a wonderful sense of humor and will be remembered with fondness.
