Anda Gehn Price

Anda M. Gehn Price, 76, of Geneseo, went home to be with her Lord after a lengthy battle with cancer, on Thursday, February 21, 2019, while at her son’s home in Geneseo, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Edford Township, Reverend Gary Wright will officiate.  Visitation will be on Monday, February 25, 2019, from 4-7 p.m. at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Geneseo Chapel. Burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Anda M. Price Memorial Fund.

Anda was born on February 13, 1943, the daughter of Ruben and Ann (Rushing) Stewart, in Mountain View, AR. Anda was united in marriage to Gary Gehn on July 13, 1963, at St. John’s Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in 1980. She later married Thomas L. “Tip” Price on October 7, 1983, at St. John’s Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in 2013. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she was a member of Ladies Aid, and the Christian Women’s Club. Anda enjoyed gardening, sewing, shopping, attending plays and visiting with church family members. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Kelly Helg of Geneseo; son Kurt (Kathy) Gehn of Geneseo; two stepdaughters, Sherry Miller of Silvis, and Tracey VanDusen of Florida; step-daughter-in-law, Becky Price of Moline, IL; stepson, Brad Price of Warren, MI; sister, Cathy (Jess) Breyette of Indiana, brother, Doyle (Janet) Stewart of Hampton, IL; brother-in-law, Lyle (Sue) Gehn of Geneseo; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Anda was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, son-in-law, Chris Helg, daughter-in-law, Tammy Gehn, stepson, Barry Price and stepson-in-law, Chuck Miller.
