I remember Elaine as farm neighbor, Sunday School teacher, and mother of my good friend and school classmate, Mike.
Son Jon also remembers her as Sunday School teacher
Cheryl and I, also Jon visited Elaine in extended care this summer

Elaine will always have a special place in my heart. She was such a kind, loving person.
I taught Sunday School with her for many years.

My deepest sympathies to Elaine's sons and family. I was a neighbor for many years. I very much enjoyed our visits together. We had long talks about family and farm life. There are some people who touch our hearts. Elaine was one of those special people for me. And that garden!, I loved walking through that garden with her. I moved away in 1993, but when I made my way back to Geneseo for a visit, I would take a drive out to my old neighborhood and would hope to see a glimpse of her in her garden. We had a few chats after I moved away, and our conversations changed from her wonderful grandchildren to include her wonderful great grandchildren. Goodbye, dear friend. Rest in Peace.
