Brendon Paul Devlin

 

Brendon Paul Devlin, Sr., 75, of Livingston, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 24th, 2018, at his home. A Funeral Mass was held on August 28, 2018, at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Livingston, NJ. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory in Geneseo, IL. Private burial will take place at North Cemetery in Geneseo, next to his granddaughter, Anabella Christine. Memorials may be directed to the Brendon Devlin Memorial Fund.

 

Brendon was born on February 15th, 1943, in New York City. He was united in marriage to Maria Cecilia Calderon on February 4th, 1978. Brendon loved his Catholic faith very much and spoke with his grandchildren in Illinois daily via the telephone, teaching them about the faith with love. He was an active member of the Focolare Movement.

 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Cecilia, his children, Brendon (Christina) Devlin, IL, Andi Devlin, CO, Paul (Rebecca) Devlin, NY, Dan Devlin, NY, Jacob Devlin, CA, Mark Devlin, CO, ten grandchildren, and his sisters, Maureen Corcoran, IL, Sheila (William) Craane, CT, Elizabeth (Tekin) Balkir, CA, and brother, Brian (Gloria) Devlin, CA.

 

Brendon was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Matilda, his brothers, Edmund and Kevin, his sister, Eileen, and three grandchildren.
