I am late sending my sympathy in regards to Damien's passing. I was a friend of Jami's and detassled with the 'crew'.
Sadly Damien died at the same age as my sis Suzie.

I have fond memories of hanging with Damien and Kevin, you have to say them together in my book. La Roma's for pizza and tacos after a night of driving around the loop downtown Geneseo all night. Gone but never forgotten!

It is impossible to say with words how sorry we are to hear about Damien. Although I haven't seen him for more than a decade, his gorgeous smile, ridiculous jokes and contagious laugh has entered my mind many, many times through the years.
He was too young, and we are so sorry. Psalm 63 : "Find rest O my soul in God alone, for He alone is my salvation, He is my fortress; I shall not be shaken."

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of a great son,brother, and friend. I don't think that anything can prepare us for something like this, but I/we can always remember that contagious smile and laugh that Damien had and somehow always raised the roof of every room he entered. Damien and I went to school together and hung around alot of the same friends.I always liked being around him, because as you know, he had an infectious smile & was always laughing & having fun. We were alot alike in many ways, and I'm glad to have known him . He was a kind person and a really cool guy!! He will be missed! I am very saddened and I wish all the best to you and your family.

mr.kropp,
i went to school with Damien through jr.high and high school. we gottobe pretty good friends in high school.we hung out here and there and ended up at the same party at times,damien was in one of my study halls and was always listening to my "guy" problems. of course he always thought i was dating the "wrong" ones. he was a great person with always a smile on his face. i havent seen him for many years since i movedaway to kewanee and started my own family. your son was a wonderful wonderful person and i am so glad to have called him my friend. i have a picture of the two of us from high school that i will send you. god bless him

Going to school with Damien in Atkinson Grade School, I remember his contagious smile. We were such a small class so had a close connection. I am so sorry for your loss.

I can't believe this happened, but I guess it must be true. I will never forget the day we met or the last time I saw you. What a storied guy. He was full of laughter at all times while we were growing up. It's ironic how something like this can happen to a guy like Damien. I will remember Damien for the times we did share as teens....Take Care Bud, And Keep a watch over us....
