Don Mohr Obituary

Don E. Mohr, 86, of Atkinson, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019, at his residence. Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held. Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory - Atkinson Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Don was born on March 29, 1933, the son of Edmond and Bessie (Kottal) Mohr, in Great Bend, Kansas. He attended school in LaCrosse, KS. Don proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Don married Linda A. Goembel on July 7, 1977, in Atkinson. He managed the I-80 Truck Plaza in Atkinson for many years and then later was a truck driver for Roadway for many years. He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting and his dogs.

Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Linda; daughter, Denise Mohr, WI; sons, Curt Johnson, Atkinson, Chad Johnson, Coal Valley; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Darrell Mohr, TN.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.
