Erin E. Paxton

Erin E. Paxton, 39, of Davenport, formerly of Geneseo, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics in Iowa City, IA, surrounded by her loved ones. A private family service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Reverend Stephen Mueller will officiate. Memorials may be left to the family of Erin E. Paxton. Cremation rites have been accorded. Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

Erin was born on December 27^th, 1977, the daughter of Dennis C. and Diana M. (Fuqua) Paxton, in Geneseo, IL. She graduated from Geneseo High School with the class of 1996 and completed her Associate’s Degree at Kaplan University. Erin was employed at the Hy-Vee in Davenport. She was the manager and chef. Erin loved to cook, and she was able to display her talents where she worked. She also enjoyed reading and coloring.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Madison Paxton, Geneseo; mother, Diana Paxton, Geneseo; fiancée, Elton Royal, Davenport, IA; brother, Bryan (Julie) Paxton, Monroe, IA; niece, Nora; nephew, Troy; and grandmother, Doris Paxton.

Erin was preceded in death by her father, Dennis C. Paxton; and grandparents, Russ and Mary Fuqua.
