Hazel Miller Obituary

Hazel M. Miller, 95, of Geneseo, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Marigold Rehab and Health Care Center, Galesburg, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private inurnment will take place at a later date at North Cemetery. Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Geneseo is assisting with these arrangements.

Hazel was born on July 25, 1922, the daughter of Albert and Mary (Loenser) Schernau, in Osco, IL. She married Chester Miller on May 1, 1941. Hazel worked at Miller Music Company for many years and also helped Chester farm.

Hazel is survived by her son Ron (Mary) Miller, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester and her parents, Albert and Mary.
