Parsons and later became a charge nurse/manager for over 25 years at Hammond Henry Hospital.
Mary Lou was an outstanding cook and baker of yeast breads/rolls/pastries and pies. She enjoyed hosting and attending coffees and happy hours, playing bridge, watching college and NBA basketball and listening to Geneseo football on the radio. She was an avid reader and listener of TV news. She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church, Geneseo and active participant of the United Methodist Women and for many years helped with funeral lunches. Special acknowledgement and gratitude to the Woodridge staff and the hospice team and special friends, John and Diane Greenwood, for the attentive care, kindness, and respect they provided daily. She loved and appreciated every one of them.
