Rochel Ann Callear

Rochel Ann Callear, 49, of Geneseo, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at her home in Geneseo. Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Geneseo, is assisting the family with these arrangements.

Rochel was born on December 31, 1968, the daughter of Richard and Karen (Miller) Murrison, in Geneseo, Illinois. She graduated from United Township High School with the class of 1987. Rochel was a mail carrier for the United States Post Office in Geneseo for many years. She loved to collect memorabilia and enjoyed fishing. She was an avid Cubs fan and especially loved spending time with her granddaughter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Darian Callear, of Geneseo, and Dalton Callear, stationed at Sheppard Air Base, US Air Force, TC, granddaughter, Aaliayah, and her brother, Chris (Lisa) Murrison, of Morrison, IL. She is also survived by her special friends Amberin Polidori, of Denver, CO, and Kris Schroeder-Green, of East Moline.

Rochel was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Karen, and by a brother, Richard Jr.
