Steven A. Neuwohner

Steven A. Neuwohner, 58, of Geneseo, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at his residence.  A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel.  Inurnment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo.  Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials may be directed to Henry County Humane Society – Geneseo.

Steve was born on November 4, 1960, the son of Kenny and Carol (Hingtgen) Neuwohner, in Dubuque.  He attended Geneseo High School.  He served in the United States Air Force for eight years.  He was working with Rock Holke, of Geneseo, as an independent contractor doing tiling work.  Steve was an avid Indy and Formula 1 racing fan and was on a pit crew for a racing team.  He also enjoyed riding his Segway and especially loved his dog, Peek.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Kenny and Carol Neuwohner; brother, Paul (Tammi) Neuwohner; sister, Jan (Phillip) Dallas; nephews, Michael and Adam Neuwohner, Tate Odell, Ryan and Collin Dallas.

Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents and his dog, Peek.
