Alex D. Naseef

Alex D. Naseef, 30, of Geneseo, passed away in a tragic auto accident Sunday, on June 29, 2025. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory-Geneseo Chapel from 2:00-4:00 PM. Memorial service will follow immediately after visitation at the funeral home at 4:00 PM with Pastor Lisa Unger officiating. Memorials can be made in C/O Lori or David Naseef. Alex was born in Geneseo, IL, on May 16, 1995, the son of David and Lori (Gildersleeve) Naseef. He attended Geneseo schools. He was hardworking and was employed by the Galesburg Laborers Union Local #538. Alex was adventurous, outgoing and never knew a stranger. He had a great sense of humor and smile. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, just hanging out with friends, family and his German Shepard, Capone.

Those left to cherish his memory are parents, David and Lori Naseef of Geneseo, brother, Nicholas (Ashley) Moore of Geneseo, their children; Jackson, Quinn and Beau Moore. Also, his aunt and uncle, Lynn (Brian) Baker of Moline, cousins, Sam and Grace Baker.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Betty Gildersleeve and Dorothy and Herman Naseef.
