Barbara Ann Clevenger

Barbara Ann Clevenger, 76, of Moline, formerly of Geneseo, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Allure of the QC, Moline, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded, and all services will be private per the family’s wishes.  Inurnment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  Vandemore Funeral Home will be assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Richmond Hill Players, PO Box 181, Geneseo, IL, 61254.

Barbara Ann Orsi Clevenger was born on December 2, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Victor and Eileen (Davis) Orsi. She grew up with her brother, Bob (Vicki) Orsi. In 1973, she married David Clevenger; they later divorced after eight years.

Barb graduated from Geneseo High School in 1968 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Production from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, in 1971. She later received her Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University.

She performed in several high school plays in Geneseo and appeared in the very first production at Richmond Hill Theatre. Throughout her life, she maintained a deep love for theatre and opera.

Barb spent many years working in bank and trust departments in downtown Chicago and the suburbs. She was an avid traveler, a member of the Art Institute of Chicago, and found great joy in painting.
