Beverly R. Radue

Beverly R. Radue, 81, of Geneseo, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo, IL.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., prior to the funeral service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Turning Point Ministries at www.davidjeremiah.org.

Beverly was born on November 10, 1944, in Kewanee, Illinois, to George and Leona (Whitt) Fesler. She grew up in the area and graduated from Galva High School with the class of 1962.

Beverly dedicated many years of service to the students of Milliken School as a valued member of the cafeteria staff. On April 25, 1970, she married Roger Radue in a ceremony held in Kewanee, Illinois.

An accomplished and creative individual, Beverly enjoyed teaching painting classes and took great pride in her yardwork, gardening, and cultivating beautiful flowers. She found joy in watching birds, actively supported the band boosters, and cherished time spent with her family above all else.

A faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church, Beverly lived a life enriched by her passions, her community, and her loved ones.

She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.  Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Andrew Radue of Geneseo; brothers-in-law, Max (Meg) Radue of Geneseo, and Eugene VandeVoorde of Annawan; sisters-in-law, Debra (Vince) Heller of Geneseo and Katherine Firch; and several nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, George and Leona Fesler; her loving husband, Roger Radue; sisters, Doris Radue and Marilyn VandeVoorde; brother, Rollin Fesler; and brother-in-law, Terry Firch.
