Codi Jean Hultman, 44, of Hillsdale, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Allure of Moline, East Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo Chapel. A celebration of life will be held for for Codi at a later date.
Codi Jean was born, October 6, 1981, the daughter of Jake and Jill Hultman, in Geneseo, IL. She graduated from Geneseo High School, class of 2000. Codi spent 20 years creating floral arrangements, that brought joy to so many. She loved doing arts and crafts, being out on the river on the hovercrafts, spoiling her grandbabies, nieces, and nephews, and always there to provide a helping hand.
Those left to cherish her memory include, her partner of 25 years, Travis Wilkey of Hillsdale, son, Trenton (Hannah) Lievens of Lubbock, TX, granddaughter, Aleta Lievens of Lubbock, TX, parents, Jake and Jill Hultman of Geneseo, sister, Jessie Hultman of Geneseo, brother-in-law, Adam Benzaquen of Stockbridge, WI, niece, Rian Benzaquen of Stockbridge, WI, in-laws, Dewey and Brenda Wilkey of Cordova, Shane (Kim) Wilkey, and nephews, Silas and Conrad Wilkey, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Brandy Hultman Benzaquen, granddaughter, Blakely Lievens, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff at OSF in Rockford and to Codi's hospice nurse, Jessica, from St. Croix Hospice, for providing care for Codi and for providing support to the family during this difficult time.
