Deanna Wittenauer

Deanna K. Wittenauer, 85, of Sterling, IL died Thursday, December 7, 2023, surrounded by family at her home in Cambridge. 

Dee was born November 29, 1938, in Kewanee, graduated Wethersfield High School; married on May 10, 1958, to the love of her life of 51 yrs. Robert E. Wittenauer who preceded her in death in 2009. Dee was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for over 60 yrs. Her favorite scriptures were John 17:3 and John 3:16.  Dee was a beautician all of her adult life, owning and operating her own shop. She loved and enjoyed above all her family and sharing her faith with others, also spending time with friends, traveling and antiquing.

Survivors include her children, Kevin (Linda) Wittenauer, Cape Coral, FL; Kim (Yvonne) Wittenauer, Deridder, LA; Robin K. Wittenauer, Cambridge, IL; Bobby (Sandi) Wittenauer, Geneseo, IL; grandchildren Judd, Amanda, Nathan (Maggie), Nicole, Kodie (Jesse), Jacob, Bobby (Hannah), Adrienne (Lukas), Amber and 11 great grandchildren; sisters Hope Ballentine, Camdenton, MO; Dolly (Lee) Monroe, Kewanee, IL; and brother, Jerry Hood, Longview, TX. 

Cremation rites will be accorded and no funeral services will be held. A Memorial will be held at a later date at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Dixon, IL.
