Diane E Reschke

Diane Eileen Reschke, 81, of Geneseo, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at OSF St. Francis in Peoria, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11 A.M. Pastor Terry Lancaster will officiate. Inurnment at Oakwood cemetery in Geneseo, IL will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Diane Reschke Memorial Fund to be distributed amongst her favorite charities.

Diane was born on April 12, 1943, in Geneseo, the daughter of Melvin and Anna (Tompkins) Wiltamuth. She married her husband Herman on June 14, 1959, in Geneseo, IL. He preceded her in death. Diane was the proud owner of Dairy Queen in Geneseo for 50 plus years. She loved her family dearly and loved to spend time with them whenever she could.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Darla (Ian Ellis) Baksh of Littleton, CO and Kirstin (David) Burbridge of Hillsdale, IL; sisters, Denise (John) Duncan of Newport Beach, CA and Danelle (Patrick) Disterhoft of Boulder, CO; grandchildren Rylee and Avery Burbridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Anna; husband, Herman; son, Eric Reschke.
