E. Patricia Anne Miller

E. Patricia Anne Miller, 87, of Mineral, IL, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Hammond Henry Long Term Care, Geneseo. Cremation Rites have been accorded and no services will be held.  A private inurnment will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL.  Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patricia was born October 27, 1936, the daughter of Garrett and Ethel (Whyte) Sels, in Davenport, IA.  She graduated from United Township High School, East Moline, class of 1954.  On February 4, 1956, Patricia married Everett Miller at a service held at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, IA.  She was employed as a bus driver for the Carbon Cliff school district and city clerk for the Village of Carbon Cliff.  Her hobbies include crocheting, quilting, knitting, poker, Scrabble, board games with grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Darla S. Miller of West Des Moines, IA, Sandra T. (Michael) Siemers of Mineral, IL, Bryan (Linda) Miller of Geneseo, IL, and Shelly (Joe) DeFauw of Oro Valley, AZ; grandchildren, Brandon (Abbi) Winston, Danielle (Patrick) Fernandez, Christopher (Abby) Lamptey, Justyn (Refugio) Miller, Bradley Miller, Amanda (Jim) Mackie, Jarred (Morgan) Bruce, Alexis DeFauw, and Kaylie DeFauw; great-grandchildren, Christian Fernandez, Aurora Fernandez, Luna Winston, Orion Winston, Adaa Mackie, and Ellis Bruce.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Garrett and Ethel Sels; her loving husband, Everett; brothers, Peter Sels and Victor Sels.
