Elliot R. Koster

Elliot R. Koster, 23, of Geneseo passed away on November 14, 2021, at his home. Memorial visitation for Elliot will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 1-4 PM at Vandemore Funeral Home and Crematory-Geneseo Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Quad Cities Conservation Alliance 2621 4th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday from 5:30-8:30 pm at the Geneseo Country Club.

Elliot was born on May 13, 1998, in Silvis, IL the son of Mark Koster and Kari Vize. He graduated from Geneseo H.S. in 2016. Elliot entered the Electrician’s Union and was a electrician apprentice at Tri-City Electric. He loved to play golf and go fishing. He enjoyed spending time and caring for others. His family said he was a man of few words but what he said was important and he was extremely loyal to his family and friends.

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Mark (Nancy) Koster of Geneseo, Kari (Don) Vize of Dubuque, IA, his siblings; Jacob Koster, Hanna Koster, Allen Koster and Christina Lopez, stepsiblings; Olivia Morris, Annalise Morris and Calvin Vize, nephews; Easton Koster, Owen Koster, Carson Koster and Michaelangelo Lopez, niece, Tyla Koster and girlfriend, Katie Wimann.
