Harry White Obituary

Harry E. White, 64, of East Moline, formerly of Bettendorf, IA, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020, at Aperion Care, East Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date. Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Harry was born August 17, 1956, the son of Glenn and Bettie White. He was a graduate of Bettendorf High School, class of 1974. He was a kind soul who loved to visit with his neighbors and play trivia. He always saw the good in people and formed many special relationships throughout his life. He became best friends with his stepdad Spencer after the death of his mother. Together they comforted each other and got through daily life. Harry will be sadly missed by his friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Janet (Kennard) Franks, Annawan, IL; brother, Greg White, Cedar Rapids, IA; step-siblings, Alan (Roberta) Schonher, Castle Rock, CO, Linda Stewart, Shawnee, OK, Cyndi (Bruce) Davis, Neillsville, WI, Debra (David) Stork, Dubuque, IA and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Glenn, mother Bettie, stepfather Spencer Schonher, and sister April.
