Jace Tyler Siebe, 33, of Geneseo, passed away on April 5, 2021. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held 4 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Facility (www.jdrf.org) or to the family for future care of Jace’s twin sons, Liam and Levi.
Jace was born May 5, 1987, the son of Mitch and Lyn (Schoenrock) Siebe, in Norfolk, NE. He graduated from Geneseo High School. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator at VanOpdorp Trucking & VO Excavating. He enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and boating on the river. He especially loved his twin sons, Liam and Levi.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Lyn (Donnie) McClellan, Allendale, MO; father, Mitch (Julie) Siebe, Fairbury, NE; stepfather, Peter Minnaert, Geneseo; sons, Liam and Levi; brother, Blake Minnaert, Geneseo; and sister, Hillary (Michael) Possin, Le Claire, IA.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Donald Hummel, Fairbury, NE; grandfather, Charles Siebe, Fairbury, NE; aunt, Tammie (Siebe) Nieman, Milford, NE.
