Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Leetz

Jacqueline “Jackie” Ann Leetz, 73, of Geneseo, died Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded. A memorial visitation will be from 1-4 pm Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Vandemore Funeral Home – Geneseo Chapel, 580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254.  Memorials may be directed to the Henry County Humane Society – Geneseo, 14606 Roos Hill Road, Geneseo, IL, 61254. Online condolences, memories and expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at www.vandemorefuneralhome.com.

Jackie was born in Davenport, Iowa on January 12, 1949, the daughter of Melvin and Rosanna Schnoor. She was a graduate of Davenport West High School and attended Valparaiso University.  Jackie married Thomas Leetz on February 27, 1971, in Valparaiso, Indiana.  She was employed by The Village Florist, Geneseo, and previously worked many years as a pre-school teacher in Davenport.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Thomas, Geneseo; children, Jeremy (Tina) Leetz, Port Byron and David Leetz, Annawan; grandchildren, Jacob, Hampton and Justin, Port Byron; brother, Craig (Sharon) Schnoor, Bettendorf, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Rosanna.
