Jane "Janie" Marie Kipp

Jane “Janie” Marie Kipp, 66, of Annawan, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022, surrounded by her family at UnityPoint – Trinity Rock Island, IL.  A private funeral service will be held at a later date.  Reverend Terry Lancaster will officiate.  Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Annawan.  Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Atkinson Chapel will be assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorials may be directed to the Annawan – Alba Fire Protection District, 101 S. Main Street, Annawan, IL, 61234, in honor of Janie.

Janie was born on September 22, 1955, the daughter of Arthur “Bud” Wilson and Elaine (VanHyfte) Wilson, in Kewanee, IL.  After her education, she was employed as a hairdresser, a scale technician for CHS Incorporated in Annawan, and a farm wife.  She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.  She was a very caring person with a loving personality.  She was always taking care of other people, which she enjoyed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Kendra (Michael) Michlig, Manlius, IL, Kelli (Dane) Maupin, Annawan, IL, Ty (Kari) Kipp, Annawan; grandchildren, Korte, Keely, Kolbi, Jhett, Monroe, Lainey and Maesie; sister, Julie Van Damme, Annawan, and brother, Jay Wilson, Annawan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Elaine Wilson.
