Jodi Addis Obituary

Jodi Lynn Addis, 55, of Geneseo, IL passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at OSF St Francis in Peoria, IL. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Jodi Addis Memorial Fund to be distributed amongst local charities.

Jodi Lynn Addis was born on January 21, 1970, in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Judith (Egert) Addis. She graduated from Kewanee High School class of 1988. Jodi enjoyed spending time with her family. She spent her free time camping, swimming, and living life to the fullest with her best friend Bud, her dog.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Judith Rush of Atkinson; father, Joseph Addis of Pennsylvania; son, Michael Addis of Geneseo; daughter Shelby Addis of Geneseo; brother, Brian Addis of Geneseo; and grandchildren Luna and Hope Addis.

She is preceded in death by her grandma, Elizabeth Egert; grandfather, Arlyn Egert; and sister, Debbie Addis.
