Julie A. Price

Julie Ann Price, 67, of Atkinson, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Genesis Medical Center – Illini Campus, Silvis.  Cremation rites have been accorded and a private graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo.  Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Julie was born October 27, 1953, the daughter of John and Priscilla (Cherry) Klemmer, in Geneseo, IL.  She graduated from Geneseo High School, class of 1971, and earned an associate degree from Black Hawk College.  On November 27, 1996, Julie married Bob Price at a ceremony held at Muzzy Chapel.  Julie was previously employed at Department of Children & Family Services in Covington, GA and Growth Inc in Geneseo, IL. She enjoyed reading and loved her cats.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Bob; children, Martha (Jim) Ries, Geneseo, Tyler (Gloria) Price, Denver, CO, and Adam Price, San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Abby and Cooper; and sisters, Carrie (Bill) Garner, Booneville, AR, and Jannie (Bruce Croegert) Mackerley, FT. Worth, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Priscilla; brothers, Mike and Jay Klemmer; and sisters, Nancy Nicholette, and Mary Kabatra.
