June Louise McHenry was born February 1st, 1927, on a farm with no electricity near Cambridge in Henry County, IL, to Burdette and Axia Munson McHenry.  She graduated in 1944 from Geneseo High School.  She was employed by the Farmers National Bank for 12 years and then she assisted with the businesses of the radio station WGEN, Swint Communications, and Cabletronics.

She enjoyed going to dances, roller skating, and bowling.  During WW2, she folded bandages and wrote many letters to her friends who went to war.  She joined the Ladies Golf League at Maple Bluff and really enjoyed the social part. She traveled on many trips, driving to FL, CO, and taking a train to CA with her good friend Lois Mae.  She also went to England, Costa Rica, and cruises to the Caribbean and the Pacific.

She was a dedicated homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always interested in keeping up with all of them.

She is survived by children, Joan (Tom) Specht of Geneseo, IL, Bob Swint of Geneseo, IL, Linda (Don) Wilson of Leawood, KS, and Jack Swint of Geneseo, IL; grandchildren: Scot (Haley) Stoner, Trevor Specht, Elliott Swint, Ethan (Mallory) Swint, Whitney Wilson, Emerson Wilson, Donald (Katie) Wilson, and Evan Swint; great-grandchildren: Sophie, Marcus, Tessa, Isla and Wyatt, Sister, Marilyn Leamen; and good friends,  Doris Swanson and Lois Mae (Taylor) Adamson
