Kathy S. Remick

Kathy S. Remick, 63, of Cambridge, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel.  A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday, September 19, 2025.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kathy Remick Memorial Fund.

Kathy was born on March 12, 1962, the daughter of the late James and Donna Rahn.  She graduated from JD Darnell High School.  She married Kevin Remick on September 10, 2011.  She loved her job working in the marketing department for many years at Rainbow Resources. 

Kathy enjoyed riding the side-by-sides and their yearly trips.  She enjoyed shopping at the flea markets and antique shops, and camping.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her biggest blessing – her granddaughter, Kaia.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Kevin Remick of Cambridge; son, Nicholas Sheehy of Atkinson; daughter, Angela (Jason) Parrish of Geneseo; granddaughter, Kaia Parrish; mother-in-law, Donna Remick of Altona, IL; sister, Cindy (Jim) Bishop of Alexis, IL; brother, Dennis Rahn of Lena, IL; sisters-in-law, Stacie (Lisa) Remick-Thul and Kim (Dave) Mille; brothers-in-law, Bryan (Tina) Remick and Greg (Lisa) Remick; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Donna Rahn; father-in-law, Ronnie Remick; and niece, Olivia Bishop.
