Kevin R. Caldwell

Kevin R. Caldwell, 64, of Kewanee, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 15, 2025.  Per the families wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held.  Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory will be assisting the family with their arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.vandemorefuneralhome.com.  The family kindly requests that no flowers or memorial donations be sent.

Kevin was born on April 9, 1960, the son of Ronald and Patricia (Stiles) Caldwell, in Moline, IL.  He graduated from Cambridge High School, class of 1978.  Kevin was an accomplished mechanic and worked at Goodyear in Denver, CO, Keister’s Tire Center, Kewanee, IL, AutoZone, and O’Reilly Auto Parts.  He loved collecting baseball cards, was an avid Cubs fan, loved Snoopy, and enjoyed playing pool.

Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Ronald Caldwell of Geneseo; son, Jacob Ronald Caldwell of Peoria; sisters, Julie (Jeff) Walsh of Cambridge, Colleen (Steve) Hirschbuehler of Andalusia, Susan (Chad) Hutchinson of Cambridge, and Caryn Browne of Bettendorf; and many nieces and nephews.

 Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Caldwell.
