It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Kevin Leon Snook, who passed away at home on July 23, 2026.
He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loving grandfather whose greatest joy in life was his family.
For over 30 years Kevin worked at Tibor, where he was known as a hardworking and dependable machinist. Outside of work, he cherished the simple things in life. He loved living in the country, spending time fishing, riding his trike, and making memories with the people he loved most.
Anyone who knew him knew he had a knack for getting just about anywhere in "an hour," no matter the distance—a running joke that always brought a smile. And if there was an event to attend, you could count on him to be there well before everyone else—often much earlier than necessary. He was also known for the pride he had in his children and always celebrating their accomplishments.
His absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, but his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered always.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa; his two daughters, Caitlyn Snook (Jason) and Joselyn Bolt (Matthew); his two stepsons, whom he loved and considered his own; Alex Metcalf (Kari) and Aaron Metcalf (Madelyn); five grandchildren, Kashton, Samuel, David, Soren, Ilona; and several siblings, nieces, and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Floyd and Joan Snook; and brother, David Snook.
Though he is gone far too soon, his love, laughter, and the memories he created will remain with us forever.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial visitation will be held at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo Chapel on July 31, 2026, from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm for family and friends to attend.
