Kristopher Michael Erickson

Kristopher Michael Erickson, 46, of Geneseo, IL, passed away on May 9, 2025, at Genesis East- Davenport, IA, with complications. A memorial mass at St. Malachy’s Catholic Church-Geneseo will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 17, 2025, with Fr. Daniel Gifford officiating. A memorial visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM prior to the mass at church. He will be laid to rest at Colona Township Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be made to his parents Lori and Richard Erickson or the donor’s choice.

Kris was born on April 22, 1978, in Geneseo, IL, the son of Richard and Lori (Munson) Erickson. He graduated from JD Darnall and worked at the local LOHSE Automotive as his first job until it closed. He went on to work at Courtesy Moline and Nissan together with 25 years in parts. Kris liked nothing better than being at home, disc golfing, and fine dining for Sunday dinners. He was a private man by nature, always had a smile and was kind and good to those who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Richard (Lori) Erickson, brother, Jeremy Erickson, grandmother, Charlene Munson Glynn, several aunts and uncles and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Axel Erickson, Charlene Erickson, Richard Munson, and Bernard Glynn, uncle, Kevin Munson and aunt, Carol Gustafson.
