Lavern Neuleib Obituary

Lavern H. Neuleib, 83, formerly of Atkinson, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at his home. Cremations rites have been accorded. Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be no services.

Lavern was born on April 9, 1942, the son of Edwin and Loretta (Whittington) Neuleib in Atkinson, IL.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Valerie (Loren) Jackson, Verna (Mike) Townsend, and Vanessa (John) Addis; sibling Lories (Phil) Graham and Laurel Neuleib; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Loretta; daughter, Vickie Lawrence; siblings, Lila Parrish, Leota Wethington, Lois King, and Lynn Neuleib.
