Linda Diane Rosebeck, 80, of Annawan, passed away on August 13, 2024, at Hammond Henry Long Term Care in Geneseo, IL. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Annawan, IL at 10:30 am with Reverend S. Stephen Engelbrecht celebrating. A burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Annawan, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 4-7 pm at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory – Atkinson Chapel. A recitation of the rosary will begin at 3:30 pm, prior to the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Linda Rosebeck Memorial Fund. Linda was born on July 17, 1944, the daughter of John and Elaine (DeMink) VanHyfte in Kewanee, IL. She graduated from Annawan High School in 1962. She went on to marry the love of her life, Lawrence Rosebeck on September 1, 1962. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1999. Together, she and Lawrence enjoyed traveling to Colorado to see family. Linda enjoyed antiquing cream and green granite ware, attending craft shows, reading, sewing and attending all of her grandkid’s events. She loved hosting family get togethers, holding lunch stands for VanHyfte Auctioneer Service, and playing solitaire. Linda was a proud member of the Altar and Rosary Society at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children; Tammy (Jim) Neuleib of Pagosa Springs, CO, Terry (Kathy) Rosebeck of Annawan, IL, Tracey (Vicky) Rosebeck of Kewanee, IL, Tonya Rosebeck of Annawan, IL, Trisha (John) Warren of Annawan, IL; 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Noard Diericx and Judy Rediger; aunt, Marilyn Verdick; sister-in-law, Fran VanHyfte, and special friend, Jim Hamilton.
She is preceded in death by her parents; John and Elaine; husband, Lawrence; brothers, Jim and Allan VanHyfte; and brother-in-law, Keith Noard.
