Linda A. Sellers

Linda A. Sellers, 76, of Geneseo, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel.  Reverend Terry Lancaster will officiate.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.  A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.  Online condolences may be left at www.vandemorefuneralhome.com, and memorials may be directed to the Linda Sellers Memorial Fund. 

Linda was born October 19, 1948, the daughter of Robert and Norma (McGonigle) Dilts, in Ottumwa, IA.  She graduated from Geneseo High School, class of 1966, and then attended Midland College.  On May 12, 1973, Linda married Harry Sellers.  He preceded her in death on September 27, 2024.  She was an executive assistant at GWK Enterprises for 25 years, retiring in 2015.  She enjoyed reading, bowling, yard work and especially going dancing with Harry. Linda’s family was everything to her and she was a loyal friend who would make sure everyone in her life was taken care of.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Jamie (Cory) Sellers of Geneseo, Diane Jordan of Morton, IL, Kevin Sellers of Geneseo, and Ryan “Pudge” Sellers of Colona, Jeff (Julie) Sellers of Rock Island, IL and Penny Mason of Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Kyle, Jack, Jade, Austin, Cody, Sydney, Justin, Joshua, Ashley, Jeremy, Benjamin, and Brandon; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Rhoni (Zach) Perrine of Geneseo; and brothers-in-law, John (Carla) Edwards of Geneseo and Roy Sellers of Hampton, IL.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Norma Dilts; her loving husband, Harry Sellers; and sister, Tudi Edwards.
